Beaverland - Gaume - "...The ewe gave clothes, the beaver, host of
Brevanne, the fur ..." (Roman Time) (Excerpt from the book "Sainte-Marie à
Nochet", page 13, by abbot N. Tilière,
1909) WELCOME!

Some words
...
This site is essentially about the
beaver, this prodigious genius of waters, and allows each one to make his own
imagination. In this case, we tried to be the link between "scientism" and a
ludic space, but not devoid of indispensable realism by which are expressed with
a touch of humour, a pinch of imagination and poetry, various feelings and
impressions that my hikes, often alone on the beavers sites during one and half
year, have woken up or awoken in me ... Compelled by my unconscious
imagination, I found myself, the liking of circumstances, either in the papyrus
thickets of the Nile delta or lost in the "bayous" of Louisiana unless I
associate the place I visited to the mysterious depths of the Amazonian jungle
with all its traps and dangers or furthermore to the prehistoric era anterior to
human apparition ... Yesterday, I was neither an adventurer nor an explorer
in search of an hypothetical eldorado. Today, being a passionate, I have
integrated these two facets; thanks to this fabulous animal whose quest quickly
looks like a treasure of "Templiers"... And yet how frightening is its
reappearance! Sometimes it even raises an atavistic terror as much as
obscurantist to some people who see him as a creature of "Gévaudan", a
thirteenth Egyptian wound, predicting for our regions catastrophes worthy
of the year thousand, the "tsunamiennes" floods and the upheaval of our
environment. Sorry for the little! Let us move aside these "fantasmatic" and
retrograde bad omens to immerse in the beaver's world which I invite you to
discover through my own experiences and edifying pictures ...
Net surfers, let's go to ESPACE
CASTORS GAUME ... Bon voyage! ...
